Plan your Growl Fest

If you're visiting Colorado Springs or Pueblo from afar, the below information may be helpful for planning your visit. Colorado has a lot to offer and we absolutely recommend spending a long weekend here.

Where to Stay

Hotel Elegante is the closest hotel to PPIR and hosts swimming pools, basketball courts, kid friendly play areas, pet friendly rooms and easy access to shopping, movie theaters and dining. Prices are reasonable and accommodations are comfortable.

Food and Drink

At Growl Fest we will have Short Stop burgers and Yo Yo Frozen Yogurt as well as the option to purchase beer for those of age. You will not be permitted to race your car at all once you consume a beer so bear that in mind before you imbibe. The area immediately around the track lacks options for food so plan accordingly if you'd like something different to eat. After the event, Colorado Springs has many great eateries and breweries to explore so if you have time, be sure to ask a local for some options.

Things to do

Take advantage of your visit and drive The Pikes Peak Highway or take a ride out to Breckenridge or Salida. Salida and Buena Vista both offer white water rafting, zipline tours and more. Pick any mountain in the Front Range near Colorado Springs and you're also bound to find opportunities to climb or hike. Colorado also enjoys award winning fishing. Denver is about a two hour drive from PPIR and offers tons of options as well. You won't be bored after you're done with Growl Fest.
